On November 22, 2017, Alice Gwendolyn Tate departed for Glory after 74 years with us.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory: devoted aunt, Thelma Roberts; children: Dina Brown of Memphis, Christopher and Claudia Tate; grandchildren Leeandra (Eskor) Ewah, Summer Fulton Jennings, Brittany Brown, Maleka and Mandy Tate, Camyron and Kalynn Davis, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Metts and Angie Ramsey, Milwaukee, WI; a host of extended family and many dear friends.
Saturday, December 2, 2017, the family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service to follow at the historic Foster Chapel at 4012 Oakland Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918.
