Alicia Foster

Alicia LaShae (Dean) Foster was born December 29, 1973 to Beverly Dean and Tyson Porter, Sr. in Alcoa, Tennessee.
 
She departed this life and into the arms of the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Morningview Rehabilitation Center. Alicia graduated from Alcoa High School in 1992. She also graduated from TN Wesleyan in 2006. She was presently employed with TVA. She loved the Lord, her family, her job and watching her kids play sports.
 
Preceded in death by grandparents, William and Barbara Jean Dean, Louis and Lillie Porter; great-grandmother, Arana Bryant; great grandparents, Frank and Elmira Angel; mother-in-law, Carolyn Foster.
 
Left to cherish her memory; husband, Dereke Foster Sr.; sons, Cameron (Chesney) Foster and Dereke Foster II; daughters, JaVonda and Jaliyah Foster; mother, Beverly Dean; father, Tyson (Zephyree) Porter Sr.; honorary sister and devoted cousin, Cicely “Sissy” Henderson; brothers, Tyson Porter Jr. and Terry (Jamie) Porter and a host of other family and friends
 
Friday, January 19, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with service to follow at Rest Haven Church at 224 East Watt Street, Alcoa, TN. Reverend Ralph Miller, Officiant and Reverend Dr. Willa Estella, Eulogist. Interment will immediately follow at Grandview Cemetery at 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN, where a white dove release will conclude the service.
