Andrew Bush Obituary

Andrew L. Bush was called to his eternal rest on April 12, 2019 at Methodist Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1955 to late Lonnie Bush and Leola Brockington Nealy. Andrew attended elementary school in Fort Pierce, Florida and high school in both Fort Pierce and Miami, Florida. He furthered his education at Miami Dade County College where he studied Office Administration.

As a young man, Andrew made a bad decision. After that decision came a renewed relationship which lead him back to Christ. He loved to sing God’s praises! He was a member of B&B Gospel Group and the Sensational Men of God. He had a love and a desire to help troubled youth, which he did in Broward and Duval County, Florida. Andrew would later marry the love of his life, Essie J. Bush on August 10, 2013. Together, they were members of C.B. Helping Hands Ministries International. It is here where Andrew worked tirelessly in many capacities.

Left to cherish his memory: loving and devoted wife, Essie J. Bush; five stepchildren: Vickie Johns (Jeffrey), Jacqueline Tisdale (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL, Elwood Barclay of Jacksonville FL, Cassandra Allen of Chicago IL and Sandra Barclay; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Rose Brantley (Eddie) and Sherell Posey, both of Miami FL; brothers, Donald Nealy of Albany, GA and Stephon Bush of Miami, FL; devoted cousin, Carnell Golden, Jr. of Miami, FL; a host of aunts, uncles, loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Homegoing Celebration to follow at CB Helping Hands Ministry, 112 Midway Drive, Oliver Springs, TN. Bishop Antonio Thomas presiding and Bishop Carl Doles (Divine Truth & Deliverance, Jacksonville, FL) as the eulogist.
