Annette Howell

Annette Dudley Allen Howell was born January 7, 1938 to Deleware Dudley and Carolina Blain in Woodville, Florida. She took her wings to her heavenly Father's house on January 1, 2019 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She accepted Christ at an early age and later joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Annette worked several years in law enforcement before retiring. She loved her family, friends and especially her church.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jackie Allen and her parents.

Survived by husband, Charles Howell, Jr.; sons, Toney and Christopher Allen; daughter, Rochell Evans; grandson, Jermaine Allen; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; sisters, Hattie Duggin and Katie Thomas; devoted nephew, Greg Water; devoted sister-in-law, Kathy Tate; a host of other family and friends to include devoted friends Sylvia Cook, Darlene Waters, Mary and Brenda Green and Flora Hooker.

Sunday, January 6, 2019, the family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with service to follow at New Hope M.B. Church, 2504 Cecil Avenue. Elder Joe B. Maddox officiating. Interment will take place Monday, January 7 at 11:30 a.m. at East TN Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Highway) where a white dove release will conclude the service.
