Barry Timmons

Barry Maurice Timmons, age 57, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Meridianville, AL.  He was born May 2, 1962, the youngest of ten sons, to Freddie Lee and Gertrude Irene Timmons in Oak Ridge, TN.  

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert "Bobby", Derrick, Jessie, Tony "Jimmy" and Donald "Don" Timmons; both paternal and maternal grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory; children, Markeisha (Ron) Barnette, Ebony, Zachary "Zach" and Alexander  "Alex" Timmons, Diana Summers and LaShawnda (Dewayne) Kendall; grandchildren, Taliah, Cam'Ron, Brooklyn, Chase, Chris, Nataysia, Heaven, Ja'nye and Tyler; brothers, Ronald and Alvin Lacy, Frederick, Charles (Sheretta) and Carl Dewayne Timmons; a host of other family and friends to include the Scarboro Community.  

Saturday, August 17, 2019, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Homegoing Celebration to follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 195 Wilberforce Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830 Interment to follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park where military honors and white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
