Bertha Jackson Obituary

Bertha Mae Jackson went home to be with our Lord on January 7, 2019 at West Hills Health and Rehab. Born March 4, 1932 in Washington County, Georgia, she lived her adult life in Knoxville where she was a faithful member of Mattie E. Coleman CME Church. 
Preceded in death by her son, Willie F. Jackson, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Inetta Jackson; great grandchild, Amaria Jackson and parents, John Willie Sr. and Arilla Jackson.
Survived by her grandchildren, Willie F. Jackson, Jr (Mindy), Michael Jackson (Enolar), Latanya Lee (Alex), Kiyanna Jackson, Reggie Jackson (Angela) and Jasmine Jackson; daughters-in-law, Andrea Calhoun and Janelle Jackson; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends too numerous to name. 
Friday, January 11, 2019, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Homegoing Celebration to follow at Mattie E. Coleman CME Church, 2537 Selma Avenue, Knoxville, TN.Reverend Cassandra Weakley, Pastor /Officiant and Reverend Barbara Jackson as the Eulogist. Interment will follow at Berry Highland South Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service. Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service.
