Cornelius Elajawhan Parks Sr.

Cornelius E. Parks Sr. born September 1, 1990 in Cleveland, Tennessee to Charles Parks Jr. and Debra Dodd.

Cornelius was a 2009 graduate of Ripley High School in Ripley, Tennessee, where he played football.  Cornelius enjoyed music, he had a great interest in cars and working on them, his favorite color was purple. He was a great father that loved and enjoyed his children.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Parks Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Lasuela Parks; his children, Caliyah and Cornelius Parks Jr.; his mother, Debra (Steven) Dodd of Cleveland, Tn; his father Charles Parks Jr of Chattanooga, Tn.;   two brothers, Michael Copeland Jr. of Cleveland, Tn. and Casey Moore of Chattanooga, Tn.; his grandparents, Katie Thornton Ripley, Tn., Claudis Rouser of Cleveland, Tn., Willie Parks, Cleveland, Tn.; one nephew; a host of aunts and uncles cousins and friends.

Body may be viewed at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel 265 Fair Street Cleveland, Tn. Thursday, October 10, from 3:00p.m. till 6:00p.m.  Family will receive friends Friday, October 11 from 1:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. service time at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 799 Inman Street E. Cleveland, Tn.  Reverend Edward S. Robinson Sr. will be the Eulogist.  Interment to follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.  wwwpattonfuneralhome1962.com
