Edward T Wells

Edward Tyrome Wells age 76 was born in Cleveland, Tn to the late Martha J. Johnson Wells and Henry Wells.

He is preceded in death by his late parents; sisters: Sandra D. Wells, Charlotte Elaine Wells, Connie Faye Ware; one brother: Randy Wells; brother-in-law Charles Walker;

Edward was a graduate of College Hill High School.  He retired as a material cutter from American Uniform Company and was a devoted member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  He was a Master Gardner that enjoyed growing flowers.

He leaves to cherish her memories, his wife of 54 years, Beverly Wells; daughter, Evonne Wells (Ronald) Scotton of Atlanta GA., Caroline (Dwayne) Cunningham; sons, Tony (Dyaleah) Wells of Atlanta GA., Lamond (Melissa) Wells of Cleveland, Tn.;   eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren;

sisters: Shirley C. Wells, Louvenia C. Wells, Stephanie Wells all of Cleveland and Marva Keith of Chattanooga; his brothers: Henry O. Wells, Cletus D. Wells, Vincent (Renee) Wells all of Cleveland;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.                               

Body may be viewed Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 12:00 noon. until 6:00p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street S.E. Cleveland, Tennessee. 

Service will be Sunday, August 18, 2019 at St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America, 151 Short Street N.E. Cleveland, Tn. 37311. 

Visitation beginning at 2:00 pm, service time at 3:00p.m.  Interment at Fort Hill Cemetery.  Reverend Rhonda S. Westfield will be the Eulogist.
