Jacques Cornelius Robinson, Sr., 53, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was born May 19, 1964 to Ralph M. Robinson, Sr. and Sandra K. McKissick in Knoxville, TN. Jacques worked at Volunteer Paving. Singing and fishing were two of his favorite pastimes.

Preceded in death by his brother, Ralph M. Robinson, Jr.; grandparents, Norris Sr. and Mary Ella Robinson and Arthur Sr. “Woody” and Mary K. Revels and aunt, Eleanor Larose Robinson.

Left to cherish his memory: children, Yvonda Turner, Julia Turman, Jacques C. Robinson, Jr. and Trisha Hall; grandchildren: Kenya, Keniyah and Kavon Turner, Jacques C. Johnson, Ja’Breasia and Beautiful Na’Laye Hall and Caidyn Stephens; parents; brother, Gerald Revels, Sr.; sister, Sherri Robinson; step- brother, Steven McKissick; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.

Monday, February 5, 2018, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at Overcoming Believers Church at 211 Harriet Tubman Street, Knoxville, TN. Pastor Daryl W. Arnold officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, 2500 Maryville Pike, where a white dove release will conclude the service.
