James L. Thompson, “J.T.” was born November 1, 1944 and departed this life on February 18, 2018 at Beverly Park Place. He was raised by Denise and Elbert Booker in Knoxville.

Survived by wife, Josephine Bonner Thompson; children: Artis, Jarvis and Artrina (Juan); 11 grandchildren: other devoted family and friends of St. John M.B. Church.
