Larry Jones Obituary

Larry O. Jones departed this life on December 14, 2018 at UT Medical Center. Born January 5, 1954 in Whiteville, TN to Claude and Christine McKinney Jones, he later moved to Knoxville and worked at KUB for many years before retiring.

Survived by his loving wife, Beverly Hemphill Jones; children; grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

Friday, December 21, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with service to follow at Payne Avenue Baptist Church, 2714 MLK Jr. Avenue. Reverend Richard S. Brown, Jr., Pastor, Reverend Benjamin Hemphill, Officiant and Reverend Gregory Sawyer, Eulogist. Interment will follow at New Gray Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service.
