Latasha Bingham

Latasha Williams Bingham, age 52, passed away with her husband Mark in an automobile accident in Milton, TN on March 31, 2018.  She was born May 18, 1965 in Knoxville, TN.  Latasha graduated Rule High School, class of 1983 and Knoxville College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1988. She was employed with the Department of Human Resources for 21 years as a Case Manager and later promoted to Quality Control while also working at Interfaith Health Clinic for over 20 years.  Latasha was a member of Refreshing Spring Church of God in Christ also known as Smith Chapel Church of God in Christ, under the Leadership of Pastor W. C. Allen and Eveleana Allen. 

Preceded in death by foster parents, Monroe and Mattie (Pitts) Butler and sister, Terri (Butler) Brooks. 

Survived by daughter, Laketta Bingham; son, Jonathan (KeGaria) Bingham; grandchildren, Jedidiah and JoAnna; sisters, Peggy Givens and Regina Davis.  

Saturday, April 7, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Overcoming Believers Church, 211 Harriet Tubman Street, followed by a dual Celebration of Life Service with Elder Farris Long Sr. officiating.  Interment will immediately follow in the Fort Sumter Community Cemetery at 4828 Salem Church Road, Knoxville, TN 37938 where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
