Layla H Keith

Layla H. Keith, transitioned from this life on June 26, 2018 at the home of her daughter
in Beltsville, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Caleb "Gordon" Keith, parents and siblings. 

She was a graduate of Austin High School Class of 1952. She retired from the Knoxville City School System and was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  

She leaves to mourn her passing a loving and devoted daughter Barbara L. Keith-Mahoney and son-in-law Darryl Mahoney, one grandchild, Darilyn C. Mahoney, all of Beltsville, MD; a host of nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.  

Thursday, July 5, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Homegoing Celebration to follow at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2137 MLK, Jr. Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37915. Pastor Christopher Battle officiating. Interment will immediately follow at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Lyons View Pike, where a white dove release will conclude the service.
