Lillian Ann Stephens

Lillian Ann Stephens was born on April 18, 1949 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Harold and Mary Lou Stephens. Lillian was a graduate of Austin High school class of 1967 and later attended the Cooper Institute of Business.

Lillian, a long-time resident of Mechanicsville, was a true friend and confidant to the community and those closest to her. Known to have a big heart, she was always willing to help a person in need. She enjoyed all types of crafts to include crocheting, writing, drawing, and painting to name a few. She also loved to sew and had a knack for creating curtains and cloths alterations for family and friends. Lillian will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful Mother of two children and “Granny” to five grandchildren.

Lillian Stephens transitioned to life everlasting on October 20, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mary Lou Stephens and sister Mildred Williams.
Survived by daughter Wendy Comeaux; son, Kevin (Tabitha) Stephens; grandchildren: Christopher Comeaux, Kiara Stephens, Queen Assata Stephens, Kevin Stephens Jr., and Kyla Stephens; sisters, Dorothy Stephens and Irene (Benny) Inman; brother, Harold (Sonya) Stephens; and a host of nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.
