Mark Bingham, age 51, passed away with his wife Latasha in an automobile accident in Milton, TN on March 31, 2018. He was born July 29, 1966 in Knoxville, TN. Mark graduated Rule High School, class of 1985. He was employed as a Floor Technician at the University of Tennessee for 29 years. Mark was a member of Burnside House of Prayer under the leadership of Pastor Hattie Bell Bingham.
Preceded in death by father, Alonzo Bingham, sister, Evangelist C. Robinson and brother, Larry Bingham.
Survived by daughter, Laketta Bingham; son, Jonathan (KeGaria) Bingham; grandchildren, Jedidiah and JoAnna; daughter, Marketta Weaver; grandchildren, JaLynn and Jairen Maples; mother, Hattie B. Bingham; sisters: Benita, Maria, Yolanda (Brian), Germaine, Cindy (Maurice) and Nakia (Daryl); brothers: Ronnie, Ignatius, Alonzo (Tabitha), Joseph and Cleophas.
Saturday, April 7, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Overcoming Believers Church, 211 Harriet Tubman Street, followed by a dual Celebration of Life Service with Elder Farris Long Sr. officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Fort Sumter Community Cemetery at 4828 Salem Church Road, Knoxville, TN 37938 where a white dove release will conclude the service.
