Morzena Knighton Jr

Morzena Knighton, Jr. made his transition on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at UT Medical Center with his family by his side.  He was born July 10, 1941 to the late Morzena, Sr. and Tressa Knighton.  He was a faithful member of Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, Alcoa.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Maxine Gail Knighton and his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted son, Morzena III (Mia) and daughter, Shakyla Knighton; grandsons, Akeem Knighton and Jaheem Davis; brother, Terry Wayne Knighton, Sr. (Judy); sister, Audrey Sharpe Monroe; aunt, Drewena Knighton; a host of caring nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends and love ones.  Special thanks to Madeline Brown for her many acts of kindness.  

Saturday, April 21, 2018, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at Saint Paul A.M.E Church at 810 Hall Road, Alcoa, TN.  Reverend Archie Griffin, Pastor and Sister Scilla Kirk, Eulogist.  Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service.  Professional services by Patton Funeral Home 1-800-824-8283 or www.pattonfuneralhome1962.com
