Patricia A Johnson

Patricia Ann Johnson (Pumpkin), age 70, entered Heaven's gates on July 14, 2018. As a devoted and loving mother of three sons, she was also an amazing and remarkable wife for 52 years. Pat was a faithful member of Sentertown Missionary Baptist Church where she served as Usher and member of the Praise Dance Team. 

Preceded in death by father, Benny Tate, mother, Mattie Tate and brothers, Clarence and Ronnie Tate.  

Survivors include: loving husband, Roy Johnson; sons, Jeff (Barbara) Tate, Lebanon, TN, Roy (Stephanie) Johnson, Los Angeles, CA, and Derek Johnson, Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Brandon, Diamond and Michael Johnson; sister, Betty Tate and niece, Tricey Tate, both of Nashville, TN; a host of other family and friends.

Friday, July 27, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with service to follow at Sentertown Missionary Baptist Church, 7149 Millertown Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924. Reverend Dr. Keith Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 Gov. John Sevier Highway, where a white dove release will conclude the service.
