Sara Frances Love

Sara Frances Love, of Raywick, Kentucky, departed this life on April 24, 2019. She was born Sara Frances Zicafoose on July 20, 1952 in Greenbrier county, WV.  Sara graduated from Richwood High School in 1970.  She briefly attended a computer school in Columbus, Ohio and then joined the Army for basic training in Columbia, SC. Following her military career, she settled on a small farm in the Raywick, Kentucky area with her dear friend M.I.Love.

Sara was an avid lover of cats and other small farm animals.  She enjoyed gardening, woodworking and raising pets. She was a veracious reader of many books and enjoyed regular trips to the local library. 

Sara was preceded in death by her grandparents D.D. & Edith F. Zicafoose, E.T. & Isola (Burns) Sheppard and by her father Ross A. Zicafoose.

Left to honor her memory is her mother Frances L. Zicafoose, sister Cathy and brother Samuel (Scarlett) Zicafoose, along with many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Tuesday, August 20, 2019, a graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. at East TN Veterans Cemetery, 2200 Gov. John Sevier Highway.  Full military honors will conclude the service.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L. Buckmon, LFD and assisted by G. C. Williams Funeral Home, Louisville, KY and Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto, KY.
