Susie Jennings Obituary

Susie Townsend Jennings departed this life on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born on May 5, 1929 to Bertha McDavid and James Pope in Huntsville, Alabama. For over thirty years, she worked for the late Dr. and Mrs. John Craven and his family. She was a faithful member of Community Evangelistic Church.
Left to cherish her memory: son, Bobby (Patricia) Jennings; daughter, Bertha Tate; grandchildren: Darryl Tate, Susan (Harold) Tate, Travis (Dana) Tate, Derek (Stephanie) Jennings and Lesyle (Brian) Hartsell; twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; half- sister, Daisy Mae Ford of Chattanooga, TN; a host of other family and friends.
Tuesday, July 10, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a homegoing service to follow at Community Evangelistic Church at 2650 Boyds Bridge Pike. Elder Reginald Strong officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service.
