Ted Lyons Obituary

Ted O. Lyons, formerly of Knoxville, passed away January 6, 2019 . He was a graduate of Austin High School, Class of 1964. Before moving to the DC area, he worked for the City of Knoxville. He continued work in public service with the City of District of Columbia and FEMA.

Survived by children, Yvonne "Peaches" Winton and Todd Lyons; grandson, Jalyn Lyons; sister, Betty (John) Smith; brothers, David Lyons and Michael (Betty) Tipton.

Saturday, January 26, 2019, a Celebration of Life service will take place at 12:00 p.m. at Mattie E. Coleman CME Church at 2537 Selma Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914. Reverend Cassandra Weakley officiating. Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service. Professional services provided by Patton Funeral Home 1-800-824-8283 and assisted by Metropolitan Funeral Services, Alexandria, VA.
