On May 23, 2018 at 10:50 a.m., the Lord called His child, Vivian Louise Thompson Brown, home. As she transitioned to her final resting place, she was surrounded by her three daughters whom she loved and cherished. Her generous and kind nature will be missed and carried on through her family.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo Sr. and Vivian Thompson; sister, Pastor Sharon Welch; brother, Lorenzo Thompson, Jr. and son-in-law, Marvin Nolan.
She is survived by daughters, Renita Nolan, Mia and Eve Brown; granddaughters, Michelle Brown (Willis), Natasia Brown (Ronnie) and Shantile Crowley (Mashon); great grandchildren: May May, Lay Lay, Dre, Maleigha, Zoriah and Zilan; sisters, Rosemary Armour and Virginia Nadine Burks; brother, James Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Saturday, May 26, 2018, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with service to follow at Tabernacle Baptist Church at 2137 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue. Pastor Sean Welch officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service.
