William Johnson Obituary

William Monroe Johnson Hickey was born February 25, 1942 in Bradley County, TN to the late Pauline Craven and William “Bill” Stanly Hickey.  He attended College Hill School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Preceded in death by his wife, Bobbi Jean Leek Hickey; daughter, Vivian “Frisky” Moore; brother, Alonzo Stanley Hickey; sister, Paulette Mee and Elaine Hackett.

Left to cherish his memory: sons, Aurellius (Barbara) Boone, William M. Hickey, Jr. Elmer (Sand) Leek, Tony (Demitria) Leek, Terrance (Jerry) Leek; daughter, Lynn (Lebron) Reeves; siblings, Beverly (Edward) Wells, Benita Hickey, Phyllis (Timothy) Miller; brothers, Dwight (Nettie) Clemons, Larry Hickey and Andre’ Johnson; aunt, Edna R. Whitaker “Aunt Sis”; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Sunday, March 10, 2019, the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with service to follow at Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street SE, Cleveland TN 37311 Body may be viewed after 12:00. Monday, March 18, 2019, a graveside service will take place 9:30 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
