Willie Sue Bradford, 74, departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
She was born in Cleveland to the late Catherine and John Pryor Moore Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joyce Moore; and two brothers, John Pryor Moore Jr. and Louis Moore.
Willie Sue was born and raised of the Baptist Faith at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, music, especially gospel, and she loved spending time with her family.
She was very caring, kind, and a concerned and loving mother. Willie Sue never met a stranger and always welcomed people with an open heart. "Baby Cakes" was the nickname for those she loved. After her son purchased her a typewriter, her intentions were to write her life story.
Willie Sue is survived by her daughter; Charnell (Chris) Parks; her sons, David Eugene (the Rev. Deidre) Bradford, Anthony Bradford, and Todd Bradford; grandchildren, Corrida, Jermaine, Joscelynn, Eric, Ericka, Gemayel, Jakari, Todd (T. J.), Cody, Makayla, Devon, Demari, Keonte; 13 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Catherine Orine Ball and Naomi Moore; special daughters, Gloria Greene-Bradford and Michelle Cox-Bradford; special friends, Phyllis Swafford, Faye Arnwine, Margaret Thompson, and Lisa Parks; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street S. E. Cleveland, from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3406 Blair Road at 11 a.m. The service will begin at 12 noon, and the Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. will be the eulogist and the Rev. Freeman Ray will officiate.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
