Anglia Bernette(Nichols) Cates of Knoxville, TN passed away on Aug 3, 2022 at Parkwest Hospital.

Preceded in death with parents, James and Rosetta (Moss) Nichols, Grandparents; Robert L and Grace Alloway Moss and many more siblings.

She left this world with a wonderful life and many good memories given to her by her Husband; Corteland K. Cates, Son; Gliland S. Cates and Cousin/Stepmom; Wanda Wollo. She also leaves to cherish memories to her Brothers; Edward Nichols and Micheal Nichols, Uncles; Henry Clinkscale and Otis Clinkscale, Cousin; Gayle, and her favorite nieces; Madison Nichols, Libby Nichols, and Ashley Hunt, and many more family and friends.

My soulmate was the sweetest, kind-hearted, and loving God-fearing woman I have ever known. She was a phenomenal wife, mother, and friend. She could make you laugh, dance, and smile. Being in love with my wife was beautiful. Everyday I close my eyes and think of all the wonderful journeys we had as time goes by. But when I open them, the light that shines through the window, the pictures that glows on the walls, let me know that her spirit of love is still with her.

Our Son is our miracle child and our blessing. I thank you for giving us a family and we will miss you every day. We will cherish every memory of you. You are in a better life now. No more pain and suffering, so spread your wings and prepare yourself for God’s work.
