Ann Smith Obituary

The Scarboro Community of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, family, and friends mourn the loss of Ann Grace Smith, a longtime resident of the community.  She departed this life on December 6, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center.  Affectionately called Annie, she was born October 3, 1952 to the late Charlie and Betty Smith in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Annie was a loving, kind and giving woman with a great sense of humor.  She enjoyed cooking, decorating, spending time with her family and most of all serving the Lord.  Annie had a servant’s heart; always helping others in any way she could.  She loved seeing people smile and be happy.  She was a faithful member of True Light Missionary Baptist Church where she was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone.

Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jimmy and Charlie Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory: daughters, Vivian and Dee Dee Smith; son, Derrick (Terreka) Smith; grandchildren, Derandus, Keisha, Derrick, Walter, Mesha, Deaunna, Penny, Eyndia and Charleston; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Eddie and Carl Smith; sister, Barbara Ann Smith; many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
