Anthony Maurice Bowen, age 57 of Knoxville, TN peacefully passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Rocky Top Care Center, Rocky Top, TN. The volunteer native was born on January 4, 1968, to Richard L. Ragland, Sr and Barbara J. Bowen. Known for his humor, kindness and respectful nature, Anthony was loved by his family and friends. His handsome smile and unique personality left an impression on everyone he encountered. 

Besides his Father: Richard L. Ragland, Sr (Mattie), he leaves behind to honor his memory – Children: Anthony M. Haworth, Desaun M. Bowen, Darien T. Davis, LaQuanya M. Agnew, and Arianna Q. Bowen. Grandchildren: Aquavion Bowen, Keno Callier Jr, Kay’ Denn Callier, Messiah Davis, Myasia Davis, and Myleah Davis. 

Siblings: Evang Elisa M. Robinson (Jewell), Helen C. Swanson (Nathan), and Ouvrez L. Donald (Shalea). Aunt: Bettye J. Hall (Clarence). Nieces: Victoria Donald, Na’Tron (Shae) Swanson, Jasmine Donald and Shelby Coile. Nephews: Nathan Swanson, Jr and Corey Swanson, along with a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. *Anthony was preceded in death by his Mother, Barbara whose memory he carried in his heart.
