Anthony Lee Daniels Obituary

Anthony Lee Daniels passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2024. He was born on August 25, 1942, to the late Lorell Daniels and Juanita Hamilton. Affectionately called Tony, he was a member of Austin High School class of 1960. After graduation, Tony proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He retired with the rank of TSGT. During his time in the military, he met and married the love of his life, Ruth Daniels, and they had a daughter whom they named Tomeka LaShawn Daniels. Tony’s hobbies included reading books by his favorite author, Louis L’amour, working cryptogram and crossword puzzles, watching westerns, and his all-time favorite, Jeopardy. Everyone knew not to bother him when Jeopardy was on. Tony will be greatly missed by many loved ones. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Lorell Daniels; mother, Juanita Hamilton; brother, Ronald Daniels; wife, Ruth Daniels; and nephew, Juan Daniels. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his very devoted daughter and caretaker Tomeka L. Daniels, Knoxville, TN; brother Gerald Faulkner, Acworth, GA; sister Darlene Hamilton, Knoxville; Niece Renee Houseal Morristown,TN; Nephews Brian (Tanya) Houseal Jefferson City TN, Joel Marrero Richmond VA, Sean (Jaliya) Faulkner Philadelphia PA, Jared (Zanna) Faulkner Atlanta GA, Tyrone (Marsha) Faulkner Knoxville TN and LaMonte (Jari)Faulkner Altadena, CA, great nephews Aaron Houseal and Rayvon Bly, great nieces Jonea Hoard, Kayron (Carlos) Spellman, and Maeshawna Lee. 

Tony also leaves behind a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.
