Anthony Sanford III Obituary

Anthony E. "Tee" Sanford, age 24, gained his wings on April 30, 2020.

As a youth, "Tee" was actively involved at Children of God Ministry COGIC. He participated with the Sunshine Band and many activities with the youth department. He attended Powell Middle School and graduated from Central High School. After graduating high school, he enrolled at Walter State College where he received an Associate of Science degree in Business.

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather Anthony "Tony" Sanders Sr.; great grandparents, Annie Ruth Berry, Wiley and Lizzie Sanders; maternal grandmother Charlene Inman-Digby and great grandparents: Charles and Dorothy Tindell.

Left to cherish his memory: loving and devoted father Anthony "Tony" Sanford, Jr., loving and affectionate mother Donna Sanford, along with a very loving and dedicated stepmother KaVonna Sanford; sisters, Ariana and Avary; grandparents, Louis and Martha Smith, Danny and Mary Inman, and Sandra Jackson; great granddaddy, Horace Sanford Sr.; niece Jae'Lynn Clay; uncles, Michael (April) Sanford, Daniel and Shane Inman; aunts: Tierra Sanford, Dana (Frank) Soto, Jessica (Gene) Hankins, Carrie Perry, and LaRosia (Roger) Carrington; great uncles: Horace(Mildred) Sanford Sr. and Wiley (Shirley) Sanford; great aunts: Diana Watkins and Dorothy (James) Moore; a large number of devoted cousins; his extended family includes Lakin Trotterchaud, Bryson White, Tre' King, Marcellus Robert, Kenny White, Joshua Poplar, Kevin Ransom Jr., Kennedy Foster, Eric and Joan Washington, Xavier Johnson, Elijah Brown, Vernon Davis, Elder Stan Carter, John Higgins, the Powell community, and Ronnah Lew.

Saturday, May 9, 2020, a private graveside will take place. During this time, we will remain in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order #17 (COVID-19).
