Anthony Hezekiah Simmons passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1974, to Earl Simmons and Marine (Maryrene) Warren Simmons.
Preceded in death by parents Earl Simmons, Jr. & Marine (Maryrene) Warren Simmons.
Anthony's legacy of love and laughter lives on through his cherished family, sons, Jadon Simmons & Jonathan Simmons; siblings, Brennette Simmons, Dupree Simmons, Wanda Dye, Terry Simmons, Brion Simmons, Portia Simmons, Anna Simmons-Cale (Stan), Tonia Simmons, Jacob Simmons; Significant Partner, Schuronda Stevenson and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Today, we honor Anthony, who was a devoted Son, a loving Brother, a Father, an Uncle, and a Friend to many. He had a big smile, a Big laugh, and a big heart. He loved the Lord and was a Member of Word Life Baptist Church.
Anthony Loved his children dearly and spoke of them often. He was so happy in his following days, overjoyed with his new love and the plans they had made together. But God had a greater plan to call him Home to Glory.
We would like to acknowledge and give special thanks to the following impactful individuals in his life: Longtime Friend Will (Bud) Caldwell, Caring Neighbor Augusta (Stuffy) Robinson, and devoted counselor Laura Townsend, who went above and beyond with his care.
Although we are saddened by Anthony's passing, he will never be forgotten because of the beautiful memories he left behind for all of us.
