Ashley had a loving and caring spirit and loved his family wholeheartedly. There was nothing that he would not do for anyone that was in need. He was a very calm, laid-back spirit who enjoyed spending time interacting with the kids. He would talk to anyone and never knew a stranger. He wanted to make sure that everyone was okay and doing well.
Ashley had a love for sports, primarily football. He participated in football, basketball, track, baseball,
throughout his childhood and early adulthood. He thrived in football.
He is survived by his two children, Makailes Moore, 17, and Ansley Moore, 15, his parents, Rubenia Moore and Ashley Moore, Sr, his three brothers, William Rutledge, Lawrence Johnson, and Antonio Moore, and two sisters, Rayven McDermott and Sheila Moore, three nephews, Jaquarius
McDermott, William Rutledge, Jr, and Joshua McDermott, two nieces,Arieana McDermott and Courtaneigh McDermott. Also, a host of uncles,
aunts, cousins, and friends.
Saturday, October 1, 2022, family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Celebration of Life to Follow at Freedman Chapel, 815 Cleveland Ave, Athens, TN.
