Beverly L. Bonam Obituary

Beverly Lynn Bonam, age 75, of Knoxville, Tennessee, went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She was born on October 26, 1949, to the late Clarence and Francis DeArmond.

Beverly was a graduate of Austin High School and employed by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for more than 30 years.

She loved life and enjoyed people. She enjoyed movies, and for several years, singing in the church choir. During her last few months, she was excitedly active in bible study with her long-time Christian sister Joyce Felder as well as her good friends Evangelist Teresa and Ms. Faye. She cherished her friendship and travels with Bonita McCowan and Wanda Mosley.

Beverly spent the majority of her life doing whatever she could for Family and Friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Francis DeArmond; late husband, Charles Bonam, Jr.; daughter, Alecia Bonam; brother, Micheal Clarence DeArmond; and nephew, Bryan DeArmond.

She is loved and cherished by her daughter Brina Bonam-Tate; son-in-law, Demarcus Tate; granddaughter Tasia Tate and great granddaughter Kordyn Robinson. Her surviving siblings include one sister, Sandra DeArmond Gaston and two brothers Jeffrey and Gregory DeArmond; nieces Jamila (Daryl Inman), Precious (Pete Richmond), Ashley and Anisha DeArmond; and nephews, Jeffrey DeArmond, and Orlando Harper.
