Brenda Kaye Shidi

Mrs. Brenda Kaye (Lightfoot) Shidi - age 64, entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2023, at Fort Sanders Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 29, 1958, to Mr. Earl Lightfoot Sr. and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Lightfoot in Huntsville, Alabama. She joined Smith Chapel Church of God in Knoxville, Tn. at an early age. She attended Sam E. Hill Elementary, Vine Junior, Austin- East High, Upward Bound, and Knoxville College. She worked for the Hyatt Regency Knoxville, GC Services, Nina’s Little Pride & Joy.

She was preceded in death by mother, Mary Elizabeth Lightfoot; Father, Earl Lightfoot Sr.; Sister, Linda Faye Lightfoot; Aunt Irene Sales; Grandparents, Essie Holloway, Marie Braggs, and Andrew Taylor Sr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories of children: Olatokunbo Shidi (Lance), and Tristan Lee Shidi; Grandchildren: Amiyah Horton, Jaidin Horton, Cameron Horton, Jaisiah Shidi Brother: Earl Lightfoot Jr. New Orleans, Patricia Butler, Regenia (Sam)Jackson, Gloria Harper, Peggy Lightfoot. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to many to name. Extended Family: Celia Horton, Brittany Caswell, Jeremiah Caswell Devoted friend Marie Norris
