Charles Simpson

Mr. Charles D. Simpson, also known as "Man", of Knoxville, departed this life on June 4, 2021.

Preceded in death by his father, Charles Bradley and grandparents, John and Coreaner Simpson, Charles and Nora Bradley.

Left to mourn his passing: daughters, Demetria and Rihanna Simpson; son, Giovanni Simpson; mother, Pearl Simpson; sisters, Nancy Ann, Sylvia and Mary Allison Bradley; brother, Eric Bradley of Athens, TN; aunts, Priscilla Ligon and Susan Cannon; uncle, Willie "Boots" Crosby; a host of other family and friends to include Teresa and Amber.  

Saturday, June 19, 2021, a public walkthrough is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Greater Warner Tabernacle A.M.E. Zion Church, 3800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Knoxville TN.  Social distancing and face coverings are required. A graveside service will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, 2400 Berry Road, where a white dove release will conclude the service.  Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the walkthrough.  After the graveside service, family and friends will assemble at Morningside Gardens Apartments Community Center, 1800 Linden Avenue, Knoxville, TN.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
