Cheryl Diane Slaughter, a cherish soul known for her loving nature and witty humor passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2025 at the age of 71 after a brief illness. She was born on April 26th, 1953 in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late Albert and Rachel Blair. Cheryl accepted christ at an early age at Wildwood Church of God of Prophecy. Cheryl was a proud graduate of Cleveland High School in 1971. Shortly after graduating, she met and married Albert Lionel Lee. She work at Magic Chef (Whirlpool) for 25 years, before retiring in 2000. Cheryl never met a stranger and anytime you came to her house you never left unfed. She loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest.She loved to travel, enriching her life with new experiences traveling to all 50 states. Her granddaughters were the greatest joys of her life, filling her days with laughter, lover and cherished memories. She adored every moment spent with them, and her legacy of kindness and warmth will live on through their hearts forever.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Rachel Blair, sisters, Alberta Charlotte Blair and Mary Ashmore, brothers Ernest and John Thomas Blair. Husbands, Albert Lionel Lee and Dwight Edward Slaughter.

She leaves to share her memories with her devoted daughter, Rachel Marie Goode ( Jimmy), granddaughters, Tianna Amaya- Marie Beck, affectionately know as “old faithful”, Taniah A’Money Beck and Jaylyn Marie Goode, unborn great-grandson Kamari Jordell Beck, all of Cleveland, Tennessee. Nieces, Sabrina and Ernestine Blair of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a host of great and great- great nieces, nephews and cousins.
