Mr. Clarence Dewayne Berry, age 68, of Benson, NC, formerly of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away , March 15, 2025 after a long battle with kidney failure. 

He was the younger son of the late Clarence and Eugenia Berry of Knoxville, Tennessee. Clarence grew up  in East Knoxville and graduated from Austin-East High School  in 1974. As an adult, Clarence worked with his brother Robert as a mechanic as well as being a heavy equipment operator for various construction firms. 

Clarence is survived by son, Christopher Allen Berry (Knoxville), partner Priscilla Humphrey (Knoxville), sister Charlotte (Benson, NC), nieces Joyce Berry Parham (Tampa, FL) and Doris Bush (Knoxville) and families, former sister-in-law Marian Scott (Knoxville), cousins Arthur Berry, Sandra Curry, Lillian Prescott, Larry Bussell, James Bussell, Jason Cloud, Henry Cloud, Ronald Cloud and families , loving friends Kenneth Glass, Reginald Thompson, and Willie Crosby.
