Clarence Easterly Sr. Obituary

He was born on December 8, 1942, in Knoxville, TN, to the late John and Carrie Easterly. Clarence was employed at the Athletic Marine Store and retired from KUB after 27 years of service. Clarence was wed to JoAnn Easterly on September 5, 1967, and to this union were born two beautiful children, Clarence Jr. and Katrina.

He was a masterful mechanic and craftsman. Clarence loved his family and was always a family man at heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Carrie Easterly; sisters, Patricia Easterly, Carrie Easterly, Savanna Siler, Katherine Siler, Lillie Mae Johnson, Helen Southern, Johnnie Mae Thomas, and Mabel Dooley; brothers, Robert Easterly and Herbert Easterly.


He leaves to cherish his memory: Loving wife of 55 years JoAnn Easterly; son, Clarence (Shannan) Easterly,Jr; daughter, Katrina (Louis) Lawrence; special grandson, Dainon Shemar Dorsett; godson, Steve McMahan; special nieces, Diane Dooley, Alberta McBee, Greta Williams, Arlene Siler, Wilma Siler, Audrey Siler, and Darlene Siler; nephews, Michael Siler and Michael Barkley. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health Care & Hospice, U.T. Home Health Care, Dr. Anthony Florian, Dr. Katherine Thurman, and Practitioner Jennifer Sparks for the care given to Mr. Easterly during his illness. Thanks to special friends Craig and Mary Burnette.
