Cletus Wells, age 80 was born in Cleveland Tennessee to the late Martha J. Johnson-Wells and Henry Wells.
He is preceded in death by his late parents; his daughter, Kim Wells; sisters, Sandra D. Wells, Charlotte Elaine Wells, and Connie Faye Ware; one brother, Edward Tyrone Wells.
Cletus was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a graduate of College Hill High School. He retired from Bowater Paper Company, and was a master gardener that enjoyed growing flowers, he was also a fisherman as well as a hunter.
He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, David O. (Carolyn) Wells of Douglasville,GA., Robert and Bernard Cansler, Micheal and Donald Westfield; daughter, Myra Westfield all of Cleveland, Tn.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley C., Louvenia C., and Stephaine Wells all of Cleveland Tn., Marva Keith of Chattanooga, Tn.; his Brothers, Henry O. and Vincent (Renee) Wells of Cleveland, Tn.; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friend Zandra Jackson, who will miss him dearly.
A walk-through visitation will be Friday, June 4 from 1:00p.m until 6:00p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street S.E. Cleveland, Tn.

Family service will be Saturday, June 5 at 3:00p.m. at the Funeral Home. Pastor Martha Tibbs of Christian Fellowship Church will be the eulogist.
