David Len Williams born March 27, 1981 in Knoxville to Lynne M. Williams and Zeb David Sligh, Jr.

David was baptized at an early age at the Trinity Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He graduated from the Doris A. Walker Academy and attended Pellissippi State Community College.  David was employed by Mapco as a Customer Service Leader for five years.

David is preceded in death by grandparents Willie & Annie Doris Williams, Sr. and Zeb David & Anna Mae Sligh, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory sisters Hadiya Williams-Woods, Maxine Davis, Kristina Sligh; brothers Shannon Sligh, LA Sligh.  In addition, David is survived by uncles Willie P. Williams, Jr. and Michael J. Williams, and aunts Shirley McKinney, Betty Winton, Rosalind Renee’ Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

David enjoyed taking his younger nieces Jordin, Braylin, Azlin, Sakari, and Sidney to the Arcade and spending time with his older bothers Shannon and LA playing the game.
