Dawn Drake Obituary

Dawn Leann Drake was born on September 6, 1970, to Aaron and Reba Drake in Detroit, Michigan. Dawn graduated from Northwestern High School. She worked as a group home director until she relocated to Cleveland, Tennessee, in 2013. She became an avid member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Dawn is preceded in death by her mother, Reba Drake, and brother Shaun Drake.

Dawn’s loving presence will be missed by her father, Aaron Drake; children and spouses, John Drake and Carmen Pearson, Shavon Drake, Kenneth Peoples, and Laura Fowler; grandchildren, Isis, Da’Jon, London, Eli, Armani, Kareem, Maylinda, Caleb, and Harper; three sisters, Tamalyn (Michael) Thurston-Bohanan, Schoene (Angelo) Gary, Tanesha (Ricky)
Johnson; brother, Aaron Drake Jr.; many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
