Debra Sullivan, a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt, passed peacefully on August 23rd, 2022, at 58. She will be genuinely missed by all that knew and loved her. She graduated from Rule High School in 1982 and worked as a CNA for most of her adult life, which was the perfect job because she loved caring for others. When she could no longer work, she started crafting and caring for her great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Anderson, and great-nephews Bryan Sullivan and Kasen Kerr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, children Jason, Tarnisha, and LaQuisha Sullivan; mother and stepfather, Alvin and Gloria McNair; father, Frederick Sullivan; sisters, Rita (Darwin) Kerr, Felicia (John) Bradley, and Sandra Sullivan; grandchildren, Ahmad Manning Jr, Quintaishia, Jamiya, Stephon, Shamon, Shaun Sullivan, Samuel Poole Jr, Mark Adams Jr, and Jamaylia Maxwell; Goddaughter,Ashauna Moore;great-grandchildren, Amirah and Alaya Manning; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends too numerous to name.
Saturday, September 03, 2022, family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Friendship Baptist Church, 1933 Texas Ave, Knoxville, TN. with service to follow. Social distancing and face coverings required. Interment at New Gray Cemetery, 2724 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN, where a white dove release will conclude the service.
