Desmond Akeem Ligon Obituary
Desmond Akeem Ligon received his wings on December, 10 2023. He graduated from Austin East Magnet High School class of 2008 and attended ITT Tech.
Desmond never stopped talking and had a fun-loving spirit and the most infectious smile. He was so silly you were guaranteed to get a good laugh. He was a skilled craftsman. He had a huge heart and a love for rapping and drawing. If you were in need and he had it, he would give it to you, and you couldn't tell that man he wasn't handsome and had confidence out of this world.
He is preceded in death by his sons Jon'Des Ligon and Cash Ligon; father, Louis Pryor; grandparents, Ligon, John, and Coreaner Simpson; aunts, Teresa Ligon, Pearl Simpson, Susan Cannon, and closest friend Marcus Fontenot.
He is survived by daughters, Anahley and Desasiah Ligon; mother, Wanzelle Ligon; father, Jack Scruggs; siblings, Jonathan (Sean) Ligon, Destiny, Xavier, and Isaiah Scruggs; grandparents, Willie Crosby, and Priscilla Ligon; niece, Amaya Ligon; nephews, Jaceion and Kayson Scruggs; aunts, Contrina Presley, Barbara, and LaTasha Ligon; uncle, David Ligon; Godmother, Patricia Booker and many cousins, family, and friends.
He also leaves to mourn his passing a loving and devoted partner, Ashley C. Fletcher, mother of his children, Lucy, Punkin, and Joyce Scruggs; Clay and Denise Griffin; and The Remco Contracting Company.
