Diamonique Jordan Cade, age 26, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away at Fort Sanders Hospital on May 16, 2025. Born on August 24, 1998, Diamonique was a vibrant spirit whose creativity and passion for life touched everyone she met.
A prolific writer, Diamonique had a passion for creating art and collecting trinkets. Her short stories reflected her imaginative spirit and profound thoughts. She was also a proud dog mom to her pit bull, PIG, whom she affectionately referred to as her “son with four paws.” PIG was a loyal companion, often waiting by the window for Diamonique to return home. Diamonique worked at Cracker Barrell from high school until one week before she passed. She had a host of many friends who she convinced to love her granny as much as she did.
Diamonique is preceded in death by her beloved mother Angelia Cade Knighton: grandfather, Eddie Cade, Jr.; grandparents Milton & Sarah Hensley; great aunt, Dufferine Holland; her sister, Ashley Nicole Cade;
She is survived by her loving father, Greg Hensley, Sr.(Shelia).; her supportive grandmother, Maxine Cade; her brothers, Akeem Knighton and Greg Hensley, Jr.(Nikki); her sisters, Kivia Dixon, Chaka Jackson, Jessica Hensley, and Ashley Hensley; her aunts, Terri Cade-Hill and Rhonda Pelcher (George); her uncles, Charles Holland (Beverly) and Victor Cade; and a host of special first cousins including Temicha Cade Evans, Juan Jamal Hill,Diamond Holland, Charles Holland, Jr., Charlise Holland, Jaida Cade, Victor Jaden Cade,James Cade and Yashianna Hines.
She shared a special bond with her most beloved cousin, David Howell (Trey), and sister and brother cousins, Tanya, Katrice, Nikita, Willie, and Adrian. Diamonique also held dear family friends Ms. Gloria Angel and her family. her cousin D’Nyria, who she helped to raise, held a special place in her heart. Sister Friend & Mentor: Shondrell Smith. Who loved and adored Diamonique dearly.

Diamonique’s creativity, kindness, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
