Don Sankey, 59, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. As a teenager, he worked at Wendy's and after many years of hard work and dedication, he retired as a General Manager having managed stores in Knox and Blount Counties.

Saturday, February 9, 2019, the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with funeral to follow at Rest Haven Missionary Baptist Church, 224 E. Watt Street, Alcoa, TN. Pastor Terry Jordan officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN where a white dove release will conclude the service.
