Frank L. Reese, 74, best known as (Frankie) transitioned home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2025. Born February 26, 1951, to Vera Mae Greene in Chattanooga, TN and moved to Knoxville, TN at a very young age.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Vera Mae Greene and other family members that will welcome him into the gates of heaven.

Frank graduated from Fulton High School class of 1970. He was a devoted man of God and faithful member of the church, proudly serving on the trustee board at New Salem Baptist Church. He wore many hats throughout his life. Frank was a retired civil servant who faithfully served the United State Post Office for over 40 years. He also served his country with pride and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.

Frank talents included being a master barber, a wonderful cook, and for those who didn’t know a great dancer. He carried himself with style, consistently dressing to impress and keeping

a perfectly coordinated outfit ready for any occasion. Frank had many hobbies but none that riveled the fun he got out of thrift store shopping where he met his loving fiancé, Wanda Golden.

Frank will surely be missed by his family that are left to mourn his passing which include his daughters: Janara (Kena) Frazier- Bostick and Franchelle “Shan” Reese, Stepchildren: Kimberly Westfield and Timothy Westfield, Sisters: Brenda Reece, Florence “Dimp” Fenderson, Felishia “Sue-Sue” Hall and Brother: Thomas “Tommy” Hall, devoted granddaughter: Mataiya Reese. He will also be deeply missed by all who knew him including his step-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends too numerous to name.

Frank was a family man and enjoyed getting together bringing many dishes to the family potlucks. His life was a testament to service, compassion, and leadership. His wisdom, warmth, and unwavering commitment to his family and community left an indelible mark on everyone he met. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his remarkable life and the countless ways he enriched our lives
