Ginae Nicole Cale, the daughter of John Tolbert, Sr. and Gina Cale, was born on October 12, 1982 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was called to be with her Heavenly Father on October 11, 2025.

Ginae attended Woodland Elementary, Jefferson Middle School, and is a 2001 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

During this time, she was a 1997 Optimist Club Oratorical Contestant, a high school cheerleader, a 2000 Alpha Kappa Alpha Debutante, and an active participant of the SECME programs at JMS and ORHS.

After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. With a double major in Business Management and Human Resources, she graduated in May 2005.

Ginae confessed her hope in Christ and became a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of the Baptist Youth Fellowship, Junior Usher, Sunbeam and Youth Choir, and among the first to be a participant of the Monday Evening Study Session. She also attended Faith Promise Church, Clinton.

Using her skills, she was employed at the Appalachian Underwriters, SAIC, Dollar General, Weigel’s and Sam’s Club.

Ginae was predeceased by her grandparents, Willie and Christine Cale, and Willie Tolbert; brother, Trey Tolbert; her godparents, Pearlie Staples, J. B. Hill Jr. and Helen Hill.

Ginae leaves to mourn her passing, mother; Gina Cale, father; John Tolbert Sr. (Sharon) her son, Traven Jeffries; sisters, Lashayla Pendergrass, Jonisha Tolbert, Johnna Tolbert, Sierra Love, Adreanna Scaggs; brothers, Jontrell Pendergrass, Josh Pryor, Ricky Waters, John Tolbert, Willie Tolbert, Amancio Tolbert, Jasiah Tolbert; closest and dearest friends, Ebony Capshaw and Michael Rupert; uncle, Stan Cale (Anna); godparents Pamela Pettus-Bedford and Elvin Stapes, and a host of aunts, uncles,cousins, relatives and friends.
