Glenn Edward Stewart was born on May 26th, 1966, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to Rita Brown-Stewart and John Stewart. His father and mother preceded him in death. Glenn was educated in Knoxville public school systems in Knoxville, TN. He graduated from Rule High School in 1984, where he was a star football player. He was known as "Crunch Berry/Crunch" around Rule High School. He moved to Mt. Clemens, Michigan as a teenager. While in Mount Clemens, he worked at a Martha T. Berry nursing home and the Semeta Bus Services. Glenn was also a football coach. After 20+ years of service, he retired from Semeta Bus Services and returned to Knoxville, TN, to reside.

Following a short illness, Glenn departed this life on April 21st, 2025. 

Glenn leaves to cherish his memories four children, G. Shronda (Broderick) McAllister of Knoxville, TN, Justin (Lacken) Washington of Knoxville, TN, Gabrielle Stewart and Glenn Stewart Jr. of Mount Clemens, MI; stepmother, Gwendolyn Stewart of Oak Park, MI, two brothers, Gregory Stewart of Detroit, MI, Anthony Stewart of Cleveland, OH; three sisters, Michelle Stewart of Nashville, TN, Johnetta (Devin) Gilleylen of New Haven, MI and Jeanine Stewart of Macomb, MI.; three grandsons, JoQuan, Na'Lijah, and Na'Darrius Dale. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
