Gregory Lynn Osborne, aka “Greg O”, moved into his heavenly home on June 6, 2022. He was greeted by his father, Louis Joseph “Cracker” Harshaw/Sudderth and grandson, Jacqualin.
Greg attended Alcoa High School graduating with the class of 1978 and later received a Business Degree in Computer Information Systems from Knoxville Business College. He was employed for several years with Denso in Maryville, Tennessee and most recently with Goodwill Industries in Knoxville.
Greg was loving, caring, witty and always had a positive outlook on life. Lovingly known by friends and family as “Dallas Cowboys #1 Fan”, Greg was an avid sports fan and one of Blount County’s Sports Hall of Famers stemming from his time as a running back (#22) on Alcoa High School’s State Championship Football Team 1977- 78 season. Greg was a loving father, committed husband, son, brother, and friend to many. His spirit was uplifting even after surviving multiple kidney transplants and bouts of dialysis treatments. Greg enjoyed grilling, playing with the family pets, and
spending time with his grandkids. We thank God for his life and all the joy he brought us.
