Gregory Allen Thompson, Jr., age 50, departed this life peacefully on June 12, 2021 at Tennova Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Veronica Lynn Thompson and grandparents, Mildred and John Jones, Ollie Jewell, and Louis Thompson; aunts: Norma Jones and Johnye Bell Westfield; uncles: Hubert, and Williams Jones. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Gregory, Sr. and Frankie Thompson; brothers, Jeffrey and Michael Thompson; aunts: Gayle Thompson, Shirley Jones, Maxine Chandler, and Sandra Jones; nieces: Tatyanna Thompson, Nataziona Nelson and Justyce Thompson; uncle: Thomas Jones, Edward Jones, Scott Cotner, Christ (Martina) Taylor; nephew, Jeffery Thompson; friends: Myra Westfield, Brenda Conner, Tanashia Welcher; other relatives and friends.

Friday, June 18, 2021, the body may be viewed from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel, 265 Fair Street SE, Cleveland, TN.  Social distancing and face coverings are required.  Flowers may be delivered to the chapel during this time.
