Obituary

Hazel Marietta Matlock, of Knoxville, went from labor to reward on April 17th, 2023. Hazel was born on October 17th,1931 to the Late John Matlock and Annie Matlock Lane. Hazel was a loving, and private person who loved her family. But most of all she loved the Lord, and enjoyed spending time with him while reading her Bible.

She is preceded in death by: Father - John Matlock; Mother- Annie Matlock Lane; Children - Tony Eugene Matlock, Carolyn Davis, Cassandra and Ghosten; Brothers - Ralph Bacon, Roy Matlock, and Lester Valentine SR

She is survived by: Son - Quintin Randolph (Randy) Williams; Sisters - Peggy Anderson, and Dorothy Cash; Grandchildren - Frenchie Davis, Dustin Davis, James (Olivia) Davis Jr., Regina (Jeanie) Matlock, Toinette Brock, and Krista (Dana) Lee. And a host of many Great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Saturday, April 22, 2023 family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m at Concord Church of God, 801 Loop Rd, Knoxville, TN 37934 with service to follow.  Reverend Peggy Anderson, officiant.  Social distancing and face coverings are required. Flowers may be delivered to the church prior to the viewing.  Professional arrangements entrusted to Patton Funeral Home, Brian L.
