Hezikiah LeKeith Wilcox Obituary

Hezikiah Le'Keith Wilcox, known affectionately as "Butter" by those who knew him best, was a beacon of love and humor in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Born on May 23, 1991, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Hezikiah's life was one marked by selflessness, joy, and a deep commitment to his family and friends. His journey on earth came to an unexpected close on January 29, 2025, in Clinton, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and cherished memories.

He attended Bearden High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he formed lifelong friendships and a foundation full of resilience and determination. His work ethic and dedication were evident to all who worked alongside him at Eagle Bend Manufacturing in Clinton, TN, where he was not just an employee but a cherished colleague and friend. He was an irreplaceable son, devoted father, dependable brother, and fun uncle. His selfless, radiant, and uplifting personality brightened every room he entered. His infectious laugh and playful nature brought joy and happiness to all who were fortunate to know him.

He was a beloved son to his mother, Anna Simmons-Cale, and his father, Cleophas Wilcox. His role as a father was the one he cherished most, devoting himself to his children, Jaylon, Janevaeh, Jakyvis, and Arii Wilcox, who will forever cherish the memory of their father's unwavering love and the joyful moments they shared. He was a protective and wonderful brother to his sisters, Kandi Braxton and Eve Wright, and to his brothers, LaThaniel Wilcox and Bradley Shelton. He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews; an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins; numerous friends; and many special family friends who will miss his infectious laugh and smile that could light up any room.

He enjoyed fishing, watching football, playing his games, and spending time with his children and family, as he fully embraced the joy of each moment.  Above all, Hezikiah was loving and selfless. His generosity knew no bounds, and he often put the needs of others before his own. His legacy is one of laughter, love, and the countless lives he touched through his simple acts of kindness and his smile.

Hezikiah's departure from this world has left a void that cannot be filled. Yet, we find solace in the memories and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. Hezikiah “Butter” Le'Keith Wilcox will be dearly missed, but his light will continue to shine in the stories we tell and the love we carry forward.

Please join us in celebrating Hezikiah's life and the love he spread. He embarked on his final journey, leaving us with the echoes of his laughter and the warmth of his love to guide us through the days ahead. Rest in peace, “Butter”.
